L4G speed recommendation tool

Within Local4Global project’s framework the Coordinated Vehicles test case was considered. The real-life demonstrations for this specific test case took place during November and December of 2016 at B13 Federal Road, North Munich. The scope of the demos was to test and verify the speed recommendation module, enhanced with locally driven self-learning and smart-deciding capabilities. The aim is to form a swarm of vehicles/drivers equipped with this module, in order to cooperate with each other (and potentially the traffic light management system) towards minimizing the total number of stops and delay times, while ensuring a significantly more fuel efficient driving experience.
